Good morning world,
I have been thinking about this for a while and decided to just jump in. We are the Walker's, Sid, Kathy, Levi, Christian, and Elijah. I also have a wonderful grown step-son, Noah, who was just married Saturday and so we finally have another girl in our family! Welcome Nicole! We live in Texas and it has been so hot and dry this summer that farmers have started giving their chickens ice chips just so they don't lay hard-boiled eggs. My wonderful husband is a contractor and I have been given the chance finally to stay home with our three boys and home-school.
Home-schooling has become very dear to my heart for many reasons, the main one is because children are a gift from God, one that many take too lightly, I am their momma and my whole purpose is to make Him known to them by teaching, training & living the Word. They are my mission field. Pointing them to Jesus is the goal, I want my boys to have a true heart for the word of the Lord. I am not perfect and I stumble and fall daily but I can get back up everytime knowing that Jesus has my back.
